What is the Wild Atlantic Way?

The Wild Atlantic Way is Ireland’s newest long distance driving route, stretching 2,500 KM (1,500 miles) along Ireland’s western seaboard.  From Malin Head in Co Donegal to Kinsale in Co. Cork, the route incorporates regions like Connemara, Galway Bay and Kerry ….  It’s the longest defined coastal drive in the world.

Driving the whole route in one go takes time but you don’t have to.  Instead you may want to slow down and take time to explore the many attractions, viewing points, villages, towns and settlements along sections of the route.  And you can always return again to explore the areas you didn’t cover first time round.
